Harrison Ave has been permanently closed from Bay Marina Drive as part of the community redevelopment efforts. Access to the Depot is now via Cleveland Ave to W. 23rd Street which is now a two-way street. Please use extra caution when using W 23rd Street as there are many soft patches in the street and there are changes every day.

Docent Schedule

We're always looking for a few good docents! The depot is open from 9am to 5pm and we need to be staffed for the entire time. Please consider volunteering either a full day or split a day with another volunteer. If you can be available to cover any of the "open" slots, please contact Tom Matson or Dave Slater.

AM Surowiec AM 11-1PM Girl Scout visit 45 from grade 1-6 + 12 leaders Need 6+ docents in addition to Surowiec: Bencik, Matson, De Lalla,(comes about 9:15 AM), Carnes & Quigg Tour leader Patrice Amon, 619 944-2719 email PatriceAmon@Gmail.com this is a summer camp experience of the Girl Scouts called Girls of Greatness and we are one of many activities that are planned for them and they are from various units around town. They will be eating in two shifts in the Birney Car and touring the other part when not eating. They have agreed to pay us $2 per scout and $5 per adult. The girls are in the 1st thru 6th grades.

Dave is the LA Metro rail startup manager, personnel manager and last November he was our top notch host on the opening of the eastern section of the gold line.
